The population consists of 56 female science education students of Farhangian university of Hormozgan. The data were analyzed by SPSS 26 software, using descriptive statistics (frequency and percent of frequency) and inferential statistics (chi-square). The findings reveal that 76.78 percent of the students were not aware of the existence of the museum in the city and 96.43 percent of them hadn't visited the museum till the time of the study. Moreover, 90.9% of the students believed that museum education enhanced their professional skills, 87.16% of them reported that this education enhanced their basic knowledge of geology and 83.93% acknowledged that museum education helped them in applying the knowledge. The research concludes that although the museum education has been neglected since now, trying to use its capacity in the education of science education students will result in the improvement of student-teachers’ knowledge, skill and attitude | ||
